Cosmetics and beauty…alters the appearance of a person

‘As human beings our greatness not so much in being able to remake the world-that is the myth of atomic age as in being able to remake ourselves’-Mahatma Gandhi.We all know the saying that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’.But beauty cannot be defined by age,body shape and body color.Cosmetics and beauty goes hand in hand. It is seen decades before that women has been cosmetics to look beautiful and charming.Cosmetics are basically substances used to enhance the appearance of humam body.Cosmetics include skin care creams,lotions,powder perfumes,lipsticks etc.A subset of cosmetics is called ‘make up’ which refers to the primarily to colored products intended to alter the user’s appearance.
