Beauty - The Natural Way

The beauty products available in the market or listed in beauty catalogues are usually machine made or synthetically made. Usually, all beauty products use only the essence of the respective natural good. More often than not, these beauty products are ineffective, or at the very least, work superficially. Hence, it is better to use naturally available material for beauty treatments and day-to-day cosmetic care. For example, things like curd and egg yolk can be used as a conditioner for one's hair. Numerous things can be used for skin care - including various fruits like tomato, guava, spinach and radish. Naturally grown things work at the very fundamental level and thus give one's skin, complexion and hair the glow and bounce they deserve.

Beauty, Watch Out!

Cosmetic products and brands are finder newer markets for themselves everyday and are expanding at a phenomenal rate. Women have always been conscious about their looks but with the rapid influence of the glamour world into our everyday lives, their needs are also growing. But what most women and men fail to be careful about is the quality of the cosmetic product that they are using. Many companies tend to sell old expired products in new bottles and cans and marketing them. It is just like the faulty drug industry where old medicines are sold in new packs. The result of using these old cosmetic products could be as worse as skin cancer. So next time before you buy any cosmetic product, it is very important to verify its authenticity and look out for the water mark that is only valid in genuine cosmetic companies. It is also much better to go in for the established brands and think twice before using a new brand of cosmetic product. Beauty and youth may be fleeting but it is a safer bet to make that process natural rather than speeding it up.

Are sun screen make up's effective?

With the problems of Ultra violet radiation and sun exposure, protecting yourself from the sun’s exposure could be an important focus. However in these recent times with most cosmetics and makeup products offering SPF coverage it becomes tempting to use them.

It would be a great mistake to give into this as makeups do not provide enough coverage. Research shows that seven times the normal amount of foundation and 14 times the normal amount of powder is needed to get the desired Sun Protection Factor (SPF).

So, the next time apply a thin layer of sun screen, then dab off the excess with a tissue and wash it off with your hands before applying your makeup. It sure makes you look great and protects you from the sun.

Cosmetics- Are they really necessary?

It is important to every human being that they look beautiful. This inherent desire has fuelled the production of more and more beauty products, for men as as well as women. There are more cosmetic companies in the market than ever before, locked in advertising wars to porve one company's product is better than someone else's.

Studies have shown that some of these products do more harm than good, but that hasn't stopped the consumers from lapping up every new product that is launched in the market. The cosmetic majors play on the intrinsic insecurity of human beings to make them belive that their products will make them more attractive somehow. Let us remember, however, that a few generations before us, there wasn't such a huge market for beautifying products, but our great grandparents weren't exactly ugly, were they?
